PEB+ was founded in 2004 with the aim of closely linking the development of projects with concrete architectural solutions.
Our architecture is the result of recognising urban, spatial or structural potentials and deficits, the development of site-specific utilisation concepts and the creation of independent and intelligent structural solutions that fit aesthetically and functionally into the given context and provide impetus for further development.
For the projects, conceptual solutions are developed in close dialogue with our clients, the specialist disciplines involved and future users, in which the special features of the specific location are identified and worked out and further developed as substantial parts of finding solutions. The realisation of the concepts in tangible space is the goal of every project.
Our way of working is understood as an interdisciplinary discourse in which we try to involve different allies in the development of solutions for each task, always starting from the genius loci with great openness for intuitive perspectives that arise from the dialogue with the site. The vocabulary of architectural means is developed for each task after detailed analysis and evaluation of the spatial elements and materials found. Time is a good advisor here.
After many years of working in partnership with Hans-Peter Harm and Jürgen Nottmeyer, PEB+ has been managed by Ulrike Reccius since 2019.
